I have not wanted to post anything on what I have been preparing for this month, because I was so afraid I wouldn't do well. I was horrified that I would have to tell everyone that I suck...
So to explain a little bit... I graduated in December knowing that I wasn't done yet. I knew that in May I would have to take a National exam to become a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist. I have been studying for it for awhile now and I took it today and I PASSED. Yaaaahooooo that takes a load off for sure.
This test has taken a lot from me. I was so worried that I would not pass that I was having nightmares about it. Poor Mike has had to put up a lot with me being crabby and snappy. He was so good to reassure me all the time that I would do fine. But I was so nervous and afraid that I would not pass, I did not always listen. He has been awesome coming home and taking care of the children so I could study. What a great husband I have.
He did this all while he was studying for his finals so he could graduate!!!
So on that note... Mike is FINISHED with his Bachelors in Psychology. He says it won't seem real until he has that stinkin' paper in his hand! It has been a crazy semester. Mike taking his final 5 classes me preparing for my national exam all while having a child in the middle of that. We are glad that is over.
But now the fun begins... The kids and I move Friday, Mike moves in June, and Mike starts Grad school in August for his Masters in Health Care Administration. Oh what fun lies ahead! BRING IT!!

Congrats! I remember being nervous about the CTRS exam as well and then it wasn't a big deal at all when I finally took it! Good luck with your move this week; it'd be fun to see you sometime when you're settled!
