New Adventures of the Harrison family!!!

Well, the Harrison's get to start a new adventure. We have moved to a small town, Susanville California. It is an old logging town and has a cute main street area. This is just a picture from the internet. I guess I will have to take a picture of main street. But we love new adventures and are grateful to be having this one!
Mike was able to get a job as a practice manager for Banner Health.  It is a clinic that is part of the hospital out here, but also independent of the hospital. Just a little confusing how it works. But he has a job and he is enjoying it! We were really blessed with finding this job. Everything happened so fast and we could see the Lords hand in everything we did. I guess everything really happens for a reason. Mike lost his job and got this one in about a month and a half.  We had our house that we just bought on the market for 3 days and then were under contract. The buyer even put down more than what we were asking for.  We were able to find a house out here to rent really quickly in our price range and in a good neighborhood. I was able to finish my summer job and then move out with the kids. We are in walking distance to the church and are in a great ward. So everything just fell right into place and we know this is where we are supposed to be!!! We simply love it when we know and can recognize that the Lord is in charge.

Color Me RAD

Well we did it.... We as a family walked, jogged and ran the Color Me RAD 5k. We started off walking together and quickly separated. Mike was pushing the double stroller with Camilla and Deklin and could walk much faster than Brody and I.
Brody absolutely loved being able to get covered in the color. He was singing and laughing and just simply enjoying be there. That is what took a lot of our time. The first half of the race was uphill and the second was coming back down that same hill. Mike was pretty far ahead of us. So I convinced Brody to run down the hill.  He was having fun until he realized that he was getting tired. So I kept trying to keep him running and he was not very happy with me. At one point I told him to be positive and to just keep saying that he can do it, and he is so strong. He made another negative comment like he can't do it and that he was not strong. I retold him he could do it. He then told me very matter of fact "I am not being negative I am just telling you the truth, I'm not strong". I just had to laugh at him.
We caught up with Mike and we were able to cross the finish line together and we loved it.  We might plan on doing a 5k again.

Camilla loved it and wanted to run, but we just didn't want her to get lost in the crowd. She loved being able to run around at the end of the race with her color pack...

They are so cute!
