Camilla is getting so big. She started eating rice cereal and fruits and veggies. She is beginning to really understand the eating process. She has been fun to feed. She is a very messy eater. She gets food everywhere. Brody never ate like she did, he was such a clean baby. It is fun to see the difference between both of them. They are also very cute together. They both smile when ever they see each other. And it is adorable to see Brody say "sister" and run up to her and kissing her all over. What can we say we have CUTE Children.

The Garden!
We are both real excited to be living somewhere with a back yard and a place we can have a garden. I can truly say I never thought I would ever say that I ever wanted a garden. I just remember not being very happy when I had to weed. Mike really was the one pushing for the garden and asking my parents if we could have one, they did not mind at all, such a silly question. In my mind Mike was the one that really wanted it so I thought he would be doing more with it, that is not true. I really like to do things with my hands and to see progress of something that can be so tangible, that I enjoy. I really like going out early in the morning while it is still cool and weeding. I have great conversations with myself. I love getting my hands nice and dirty. Looking back I really don't think it was the weeding that was the problem, I think it was the time I was unable to spend with my friends that I did not like.
Our little garden
Tomatoes, lettuce and radishes
Squash, can you see the little one growing?
We also have been trying to help my parents with some changes they want done with their yard. We have made a new flower bed, planted new plants, put some grass under the swing set and just keeping up on the maintenance.
The new flower bed
We enjoy the beauty of it. And love having a place Brody can just run and play. And that he does! If we'd let him he would play out back all day everyday. And really Camilla is always happy out there too.
Daddy is home!!!
We're so glad when daddy comes home glad as we can be... Mike is finally out here in CO. Well, it has been a little while now, I am just getting around to posting anything. He got home and got right into the groove of trying to find a job and getting all ready to start graduate school. He has been applying for 5-10 jobs in a day and hopes to hear back from some to have interviews. Nothing yet, but we are praying that something will come soon. He is getting all of his schooling figured out and know he will be starting October 3rd. He will be taking one or two classes a session, each session is about 5 weeks long(I believe) then he gets a one week break and starts all over again. I think he is really excited to be starting grad school, a new adventure. And well, the sooner he starts the sooner he can be done! It is just nice to have him here with us.

Water fun!!!
We love water in our family!!!! Brody really loves to run and play in any water. When ever water is on Brody is there ready to play and enjoy it. We have to be careful he does not see the water on anywhere in the yard or he will be in it with all his clothes on. I have even found him with a step stool at the sink playing in a dirty pan that is soaking. Yes friends that is my son, all water is fair game in his mind. If he finds a spray bottle and can reach for it he will start spraying himself and anything or anyone in his path. I guess he is a kid after my own heart, I love the water too.
Here is a picture of him playing out back in what my parents like to call the kiddie wash. (They got this idea from a family in the ward, kids love it.)
Here are some more fun pictures of him at the Deerfield Hills Spray Grounds. (Just a little side note, this was at one time a swimming pool that I was a lifeguard at a few years ago.) He was unsure of all the water spraying fast and hard at anytime. But by the end he started enjoying himself. I do love the faces he made when the water caught him off guard.
